The Ruckus Team Brings Home Gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics

With the roar of the 2012 Olympic Games settling down it is easy to remember the great performances, the world records and how each athlete represented themselves and their countries as we wait another four years for the next Summer Olympics. What is not as easily remembered are the infrastructures and internal workings that allow us to create many of these memories. So, in respects to this site we have to give a nod to Ruckus for representing themselves at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Prior to the Olympics, Ruckus announced that it had been selected by Telefónica UK, which operates the popular O2 brand, to supply high-capacity small cell products for high-speed wireless services being deployed throughout London. Tasked with providing Ruckus SmartCell™ 8800s to give free, fast and reliable Wi-Fi to everyone one working or attending the Olympics games, it seems that Ruckus has fit the bill.
