Its founding cohort is capped at 50 senior security and technology leaders, who will co-author practical reference architectures, implementable control frameworks, and board-ready governance models intended to give organizations a more concrete way to manage AI risk than high-level principles alone.

Agentic AI Foundation Adds 57 Members as Financial Services and APAC Support Open Agent Standards

The Agentic AI Foundation has added 57 organizations across Gold, Silver, and Associate membership tiers, bringing its total membership to 247 and expanding support for open, interoperable agentic AI infrastructure. Alteryx Research Finds Business Context Remains a Major Enterprise AI Bottleneck

Alteryx’s 2026 IT Leader Research finds that 53% of organizations struggle to translate business context—such as rules, definitions, and operational knowledge—into the systems and workflows their AI relies on, even as investment continues to rise. AWS and Oracle Make Exadata on Exascale Generally Available for Oracle AI Database@AWS

AWS and Oracle have made Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure generally available for Oracle AI Database@AWS, allowing customers to run Exadata infrastructure natively within AWS Availability Zones and procure it through AWS Marketplace. The service brings Exadata performance together with pay-per-use economics and decoupled compute and storage scaling, letting organizations run Oracle AI Database workloads without provisioning dedicated database and storage servers; it is initially available across 22 AWS Regions.

Blacksmith Raises $45 Million to Scale Cloud-Based Code Validation for the AI Coding Era

Blacksmith has raised a $45 million Series B led by Peak XV Partners, with existing investors Y Combinator and GV participating, valuing the company at $550 million and bringing total funding to $58.5 million. The company plans to expand compute capacity for its cloud-based continuous-integration and code-validation platform as AI coding tools accelerate code generation and pull-request volume, shifting the engineering bottleneck toward the infrastructure required to build, test, and verify every change before it reaches production.

Cloudera Survey Finds Enterprises Are Re-Architecting Data Environments for AI

Cloudera’s global survey of 1,500 enterprise architects, cloud infrastructure leads, and data architects finds that 72% believe their current data architecture requires significant changes to meet future AI requirements, while 75% have already changed storage and architecture practices because of AI. Although 77% of respondents are actively using AI, 95% have delayed or cancelled projects over data governance, compliance, or regulatory challenges—evidence of what Cloudera calls the “Great AI Re-Architecture” toward hybrid environments that bring trusted AI to trusted data wherever it resides.

Databricks Brings Electric and WASM Postgres to AI Agent Sandboxes

Electric is joining Databricks to bring PGlite, a lightweight PostgreSQL database compiled to WebAssembly, and real-time synchronization technology into AI agent sandboxes. The combination extends Databricks’ Postgres capabilities from Lakebase into the browser, device, or sandbox where agents run, giving each agent low-latency local state while syncing distributed changes back to a central Lakebase Postgres system so teams of agents can share current context without duplicating work or relying on stale data.

Dynatrace to Acquire Arize for $915 Million to Create Full-Lifecycle AI Observability

Dynatrace has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AI observability company Arize in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $915 million, including approximately $815 million in cash and replacement equity awards for Arize employees who join Dynatrace.
