Amtel Broadens Their Mobile Device Management Offerings to the Nexus

Continuing to offering mobile device management (MDM) and security across the expanding variety of mobile devices, Amtel has announced that the latest version of their MDM solution is Google Nexus 7 Tablet compliant. Now offering MDM for devices running on the Android 4.1.1 OS, Amtel is joining others in working to offer more security for Android devices in what we can only think is an effort to stay relevant during the BYOD craze.

This upgrade is doing just that as it offers MDM for devices such as the Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, and Nexus S. In their recent release Pankaj Gupta, CEO of Amtel, is quoted as saying, “To service our enterprise customers, we ensure that our MDM solution is compatible with the latest mobile device platforms. This has allowed them to control devices entering their network in a timely fashion. By staying in tune with the needs of our clients, we consistently receive a 95% Customer Satisfaction rating.” As more MDM solutions provider, like Amtel, continue to support more and more mobile devices running on the different OS we can almost hear the sighs of relief from IT departments, as it seems there is no fighting the BYOD trend.
