Altera Expands DDR5 Support Across Agilex FPGAs for Higher-Bandwidth AI and Networking Designs

Altera has expanded DDR5, LPDDR5, and LPDDR5X-compatible memory support across its Agilex FPGA portfolio through Quartus Prime Pro Edition Software version 26.1.1. The release adds DDR5-6400 and LPDDR5-6400 support for Agilex 7 M-Series devices, new LPDDR5 support for Agilex 3, and documented LPDDR5X compatibility for selected Agilex 5 and 3 devices, delivering as much as 204.8 GB/s of aggregate memory bandwidth in supported Agilex 7 configurations for AI, networking, and embedded workloads.

Arctera Expands Unified Platform Capabilities to Strengthen Defensible Compliance

Arctera has expanded its Unified Platform with new features to provide more continuous, defensible compliance workflows across regulated communications, reconciliation, legal hold, review, and reporting. Enhancements include capture for LeapXpert mobile messaging and LSEG Messenger, end-to-end reconciliation to identify missing or delayed records, improved legal-hold visibility, attachments and inline translation in eDiscovery review, and reporting on reviewer activity, hot words, and roles to strengthen oversight and evidence of compliance activity.

HYCU Introduces R-Serve to Keep Law Firms Connected to iManage Data Through Cloud Disruptions

HYCU has introduced R-Serve for iManage Cloud, giving law firms a continuous-access layer intended to keep users connected to their documents and matter data if the primary iManage Cloud path is unavailable. Working alongside HYCU’s backup and recovery capabilities, R-Serve preserves access within a firm’s own cloud environment and is scoped to the data users already own and operate, addressing the operational impact that a cloud service disruption can have on time-sensitive legal work.

Kioxia and Sandisk Unveil Ninth-Generation QLC Flash to Meet AI Storage Demands

Kioxia and Sandisk have unveiled ninth-generation, 2Tb QLC 3D flash memory designed for the growing storage requirements of AI-driven and data-intensive infrastructure. Built with the companies’ CMOS directly Bonded to Array architecture and a six-plane design, the technology offers improved read and write bandwidth, higher power efficiency, and a 4.8Gb/s NAND interface—33% faster than the prior eighth-generation devices—aiming to make cloud-scale flash capacity more performant and economical.

Nutanix Launches Open-Source MCP Server for Secure, AI-Driven Hybrid Cloud Operations

Nutanix has released a technical-preview Model Context Protocol server for Nutanix Cloud Platform, allowing AI assistants and developer tools to interact with hybrid cloud infrastructure through the Prism v4 API. The open-source server acts as a controlled pass-through for tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor, translating natural-language requests into governed infrastructure actions while enforcing existing Prism identity, role-based access, security, and execution controls.
