Cohesity Finds Cyber Recovery Plans Often Restore Systems Without Restoring Operations
Cohesity’s Global Cyber Resilience Report found that 78% of organizations prioritize restoring systems rather than sustaining critical business operations during a cyberattack, while only 22% have documented and tested a minimum viable company approach. Among organizations hit by a material attack in the past year, 60% reported recovery delays because they could not verify systems and data were clean, and 60% faced post-recovery identity or access issues; the research also found that only 3% believe their plans are ready for frontier AI threats.

Druva Adds Behavioral Intelligence To Speed Identity And Ransomware Recovery

Huawei Launches PB-Scale Context Memory Storage To Accelerate Large-Model Inference
Huawei has introduced OceanStor M900 Context Memory Storage for hyperscale AI inference, pooling KV cache across on-chip memory, DRAM, and SSDs to give SuperPod clusters up to 64 PB of shared capacity. The platform uses UnifiedBus networking, one-hop NPU-to-SSD access, and KV-aware adaptive storage to reduce latency to 60 microseconds, deliver 40 TB/s of aggregate bandwidth, and, according to Huawei, double token throughput while cutting time to first token in typical AI-programming workloads.

MSP360 Launches Free Proxmox Backup For Smaller Virtualization Deployments
MSP360 has made its Proxmox Community Edition generally available, offering free hypervisor-level backup for one Proxmox VE host with up to two CPU sockets and 5 TB of cloud backup capacity. The software protects VMs and LXC containers without an in-guest agent or Proxmox Backup Server, supports full and incremental backups, encryption, Object Lock, file-level restore, and recovery to virtual disks, and adds migration paths from VMware and Hyper-V into Proxmox.

Seagate Finds Enterprise AI Storage Demand Is Outrunning Infrastructure Readiness
Seagate’s 2026 Data Infrastructure Readiness Report found that 99% of 2,712 surveyed enterprise technology decision-makers expect AI to increase storage needs within three years, yet only 38% consider their organizations fully prepared. Data quality and readiness ranked as the top deployment barrier at 53%, followed by storage infrastructure at 43%, while 32% expect capacity needs to grow by more than 50%; 77% have delayed or restructured AI-infrastructure expansion because of energy and sustainability concerns.
