Everpure Leads MLPerf Storage Results For Large-Model Checkpointing And KV Cache
Everpure says its FlashBlade//EXA platform ranked first across 405 billion- and 1.25 trillion-parameter model checkpointing and KV-cache categories in MLPerf Storage v3.0. In the 1.25 trillion-parameter checkpointing test using 1,024 simulated accelerators, the system delivered 877.52 GiB/s write throughput and 588.28 GiB/s read throughput with 30 data nodes; it also reported 85,736 tokens per second for an 8B Llama 3.1 storage-only KV-cache workload, illustrating the growing importance of scalable storage performance in AI training and inference pipelines.
