What is the Solutions Review BUDR Insight Jam? What information on backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, data protection and IT resilience can you expect to learn from it? How can you participate?
We’re looking to answer these questions as we ramp up to the first-ever BUDR Insight Jam on December 17th!
What is the BUDR Insight Jam?
On December 17th, we begin an unprecedented social media day covering backup and disaster recovery in detail! During the BUDR Insight Jam, we plan to share our own best practices, as well as the best practices from data protection experts around the world. Additionally, we plan to share customer success stories from backup and disaster recovery solution providers and their predictions for 2020.
You can see it all unfold on Twitter and LinkedIn under the hashtag #BUDRInsightJam. You can also follow along on the Backup and Disaster Recovery page of the Solutions Review website.
Do You Have A Schedule for the BUDR Insight Jam?
Absolutely! We’re taking the day by storm!
First, we’ll start at 8:30 AM EST; the conversation will revolve around backup and disaster recovery best practices, including how enterprises can evaluate and select a data protection solution.
Then, at 10 AM, we host an open tech chat — The Morning Dose. We’ll discuss backup and disaster recovery best practices personally, and exchange our thoughts with everyone! The open tech chats should conclude around 11 AM when we’ll resume sharing best practices.
We plan to wrap up our best practices conversation around 12:30 PM. Afterward, we’ll shift the conversation to customer success stories. At 2 PM, we’ll host a second open tech chat called the Re-Up! During this conversation, (which will end around 3 PM), we’ll cover both customer success and predictions for 2020. At 4:30 PM, we’ll share 2020 predictions from the experts. From there, we’ll continue sharing expert predictions until we wrap up the BUDR Insight Jam at 8:30 PM.
What Will Be Discussed at the Morning Dose Conversation?
Here, we present a sampling of the questions we plan on sharing during the Morning Dose open tech chat:
- What are three key backup and disaster recovery capabilities enterprises should consider when evaluating and selecting a solution? Why?
- How do you know when it’s time to update or replace your data protection solution?
- How big of a role should the cloud play in your BUDR solution?
However, this shouldn’t be considered a definitive list of questions. We’re still cooking up some excellent conversation starters for the chat!
What Will be Discussed at the Re-Up Conversation?
Unlike the Morning Dose, the Re-Up conversation at 2 PM EST will focus on customer success and predictions. Therefore, questions asked during this chat may include:
- What do you need for a future-proof backup and disaster recovery solution?
- What infrastructure challenges most impede successful business continuity and overall data protection?
- Do you have any outside predictions or even radical thoughts on what 2020 may bring to the backup and disaster recovery market?
Of course, just like the above, we’ll have more questions to offer during the chat itself!
How do I Participate in the BUDR Insight Jam?
To participate in the BUDR Insight Jam, simply use the hashtag #BUDRInsightJam on Twitter and LinkedIn. Keep an eye on the feed, participate in the chat, and share your thoughts!
It’s that simple?
Yes, it’s that simple!
Can Anyone Participate?
Sure! There is no cost to participate in the Jam. Additionally, you can participate as much as you would like! Want to join one of the conversations, but not the other? That’s okay! Feel free to comment, question, or otherwise chat about any of the content we release throughout the day!
Can I Still Contribute Content to the BUDR Insight Jam?
Since you asked, we have extended the deadline for video content and best practices until December 6th. If you have video content you would like to share, please make sure it follows our video guidelines, which we share here. You can submit your content, video or otherwise, at http://www.insightjam.com/.
Not only will all this be happening on December 17th, but we’ll also be coming out with our brand new 2020 Backup and Disaster Recovery Buyer’s Guide! With profiles of the top-28 vendors, questions to ask yourself and your provider before purchasing a solution, and our Bottom Line analysis, it’s the best tool you could have to simplify the buying process.
Hope to see you at the BUDR Insight Jam on December 17th!
