Databricks Introduces Governance Hub For Account-Wide Data, AI, And FinOps Oversight
Databricks has released Governance Hub in beta, giving platform and governance teams a centralized account-level view of metadata health, access, AI usage, and spending across Databricks workspaces on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The service identifies unclassified or undocumented assets, exposes effective permissions for users and service principals, tracks AI Gateway token and model activity, and highlights untagged resources that complicate chargeback and budgeting; it also integrates Genie for natural-language investigation and recommendations.

Domino Data Lab Appoints Thomas Robinson CEO To Focus On Production AI Solutions

Imagenet Acquires Analytica Consulting To Bring Data And AI Expertise To Healthcare Operations
Healthcare-operations provider Imagenet has acquired Analytica Consulting, adding data engineering, analytics, AI, visualization, and governance capabilities to its payer-focused technology and automation business. The deal, which closed August 21, is designed to help healthcare organizations turn operational data into measurable intelligence and improvement without requiring wholesale replacement of existing systems; financial terms were not disclosed.

ISG Says Analytics Platforms Are Evolving From Insight Engines To AI Action Systems
