Logi Analytics has announced the release of Logi Composer, a new out-of-the-box embedded analytics development platform that the company is calling an “industry first.” Logi Composer is “the culmination of over seven years of research & development” according to the Virginia-based data analytics provider. Logi Composer enables software teams to design, build, and embed interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
Logi Analytics offers a development platform that allows teams to build, deploy, and maintain the analytics in their applications. With the Logi Platform, analytics content and capabilities are embedded and integrated within an existing application or portal. Application teams maintain control to customize the user experience and meet unique requirements. As part of the Logi Platform, Logi Services introduces REST APIs, allowing developers to programmatically interact with data sources, visualizations, and dashboards.
Logi Composer lets developers tailor embedded self-service and configure it to match the skill level of end-users while also enabling them to modify and share their own visualizations. Logi’s z-Engine and Smart Data Connectors work with an existing tech stack as well, and the product includes a cloud-ready microservices architecture that provides elastic scale.
In a media statement about the release, Logi Analytics CEO Steven Schneider said: “Software teams are responsible for building applications with embedded analytics that help their end users make better decisions. For these application teams to be successful, they need a development platform that’s easy to use, but also provides these teams with total control of their end users’ analytics experience.”
Logi Composer is now available both as a standalone embedded analytics solution and as part of the Logi Symphony subscription-based service.
