CData Secures $20 Million Series A Investment for Data Connectivity Tools

CData Software has announced $20 million in Series A funding, according to a press release on the company’s website. The round was led by Updata Partners. The CData funding will enable the company to expand its global presence, introduce new cloud offerings, and hasten the development and rollout of new data connectivity solutions. The company is based in North Carolina and was founded in 2016.
CData Software offers data integration solutions for real-time access to online or on-prem applications, databases and Web APIs. The vendor specializes in providing access to data through established data standards and application platforms such as ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, SSIS, BizTalk, and Microsoft Excel. CData Software products are broken down into six categories: driver technologies, enterprise connectors, data visualization, ETL and ELT solutions, OEM and custom drivers, and cloud and API connectivity.
CData partnered with several of the most notable names in data and analytics in 2019. Some of those solution providers include the likes of Infragistics, SAS, DataRobot, Couchbase, Izenda, and Tableau Software. You can learn more about what the company has been up to via its press page.
