Matillion has announced the launch of Matillion Exchange, a marketplace for Matillion ETL users and partners to publish and download Shared Jobs. The aim of the offering is to reduce development time so organizations can solve business problems faster. Matillion Exchange provides user-generated, proven ETL solutions in the form of Shared Jobs. Users can download and import Shared Jobs created by others into their Matillion ETL infrastructure.
Matillion offers data integration software for cloud data warehouses, and was designed for Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery. The product works by allowing users to consolidate large data sets and quickly perform data transformations. It features expert technical support as well, all by Matillion solution architects and comes free of charge. Full support is offered throughout the customer lifecycle, including trial and complex use case development.
For customers looking to solve for bespoke business requirements, Matillion Exchange offers an array of ETL workflows that can be modified to meet specific needs. Matillion customers can also take advantage of a collection of ETL, ELT and data transformation best practices via the new Matillion ETL Community. The community provides discussion topics, user groups, and an Ideas Portal for raising feature questions to the internal Matillion product team so that users can influence the product roadmap.
In a statement about the news, Matillion CEO Matthew Scullion said: “Matillion Exchange enables users and partners to share knowledge while making sophisticated use cases more accessible by leveraging the code and logic created by experts to innovate quickly. In addition to publishing their own jobs, this marketplace enables our partners to rapidly build solutions for their customers, and ISVs to deploy data analytics solutions using our leading data transformation software.”
