Matillion has announced the availability of Matillion ETL for Snowflake on the Google Cloud Platform, according to a press release on its website. Matillion ETL for Snowflake on Google Cloud enables cloud-native ETL that is built specifically for Snowflake and Google Cloud. Customers can utilize the solution to load business data into Snowflake then perform transformations to generate insights. The product also lets users manage some Snowflake features to optimize their experience.
Matillion offers data integration software for cloud data warehouses, and was designed for Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery. The product works by allowing users to consolidate large data sets and quickly perform data transformations. It features expert technical support as well, all by Matillion solution architects and comes free of charge. Full support is offered throughout the customer lifecycle, including trial and complex use case development.
Matillion ETL for Snowflake on Google Cloud features a number of distinct capabilities like a code-optional, drag-and-drop transformation canvas, more than 80 data sources to integrate with (including on-prem databases, files, and SaaS applications), and a user-configurable REST API connector for data sources without native integration. The product touts deep integration into Snowflake features like Flatten Variant and Alter Warehouse so users can suspend, resume and resize a virtual warehouse. There’s also data ingest support into Snowflake from Google Cloud Storage.
