SnapLogic recently announced the release of new features and enhancements to its Intelligent Integration Platform, according to a press release. The May 2021 release is headlined by support for design-first API methodology and versioning that make it easy for users to create applications around specific APIs. There are also new anomaly detection and memory management capabilities that automatically identify issues.

SnapLogic’s Intelligent Integration Platform provides integration across applications, databases, data warehouses, big data streams, and IoT deployments. It allows both IT and business users to create data pipelines that can be deployed on-prem or in the cloud. The platform features an HTML5 visual designer and a proprietary AI algorithm called Iris that learns common integration patterns and drives self-service by recommending flows.

New advanced API management capabilities add tools and support for API developers who prefer to take a design-first approach. SnapLogic simplifies API implementations via guiding users to select and modify settings related to APIs. This release also sees the addition of API versioning which lets you create new API versions and manage the assets and policies of each version independently. SnapLogic then automatically applies the new policies and functionality for the new version.

Additional key features in the May 21 Intelligent Integration Platform include new Snaps and Snap Packs for Twilio, Oracle NetSuite, and SAP, as well as ELT support for Snowflake on GCP and SCD2 functionality with ELT.

In a media statement on the news, SnapLogic CTO Craig Stewart said “Here at SnapLogic, we are dedicated to continually enhancing the capabilities of our platform to ensure that we address all of our customers’ needs. Being efficient, flexible, performant, and easy-to-use is the only way to truly improve time-to-value from integrations and automations.”
