Talend recently announced the Fall ’21 release of its flagship data integration and data integrity platform, according to a press release on the company’s website. The product tours new service and packaging options that can help customers apply Talend data health concepts across data environments. The release also features capabilities to hasten data professional productivity and a packaging option that supports unlimited rows and users. Talend will showcase its Fall ’21 release at its annual Talend Connect 2021 customer conference.
Talend offers an expansive portfolio of data integration and data management tools. The company’s flagship tool, Open Studio for Data Integration, is available via a free open-source license. Talend Integration Cloud is offered in three separate editions (SaaS, hybrid, elastic), and provides broad connectivity, built-in data quality, and native code generation to support big data technologies. Big data components and connectors include Hadoop, NoSQL, MapReduce, Spark, machine learning, and IoT.
Talend Fall ’21 is headlined by Talend Data Quality Service, a new offering that includes the company’s data quality technology, frameworks, dashboards, and specialists. A native Trust Score for Snowflake profiles entire datasets inside Snowflake Data Cloud while a self-service data API sharing in Talend Data Fabric enables data engineers to run processes, applications, and analytics without relying on a developer.
In a media statement on the news, Talend CTO Krishna Tammana said: “Our focus is to help customers with the last mile in data management, ensuring they have healthy data when and where they need it, in the right context. When a business can build this into its systems and culture at scale, at the speed of business, is when it will consistently deliver successful business outcomes. Our new release builds upon the innovative quality and trust capabilities in our platform that has made Talend a leader over many years, enabling more organizations and people to benefit from healthy data.”
