In this video, Attunity’s Director of Product Management Rodan Zadeh makes a presentation to the group at Strata + Hadoop World regarding ways in which companies can enhance their data architecture with the deployment of Hadoop. He outlines some of the key drivers for Hadoop implementation, such as EDW optimization, advanced analytics, predictive analytics, and more.

The benefits of using Hadoop stretch quite far, but as he notes, it allows data-driven organizations to store a wide variety of data types within one storage medium, allowing for all kinds of additional processes. Examples of data types that a company might want to store inside Hadoop are machine data, structured data, unstructured data, real-time streaming data, and many, many more. As Zadeh points out in his introduction, he’s representing Attunity at the conference, but the presentation is free of promotion, and does provide some really interesting topics to think about.
