Infinidat Secures Funding Round From Existing InvestorsInfinidat recently announced it has secured an additional investment round from its existing investors, including TPG Growth, Goldman Sachs, Claridge Ion Investors, and Moshe Yanai, the founder of Infinidat. The provider also announced enhancements to its leadership team with the appointment of Boaz Chalamish, as its Executive Chairman. The funding will be used to build on new initiatives, as well as technical research and product development.

Recently, Infinidat also announced the general availability of its Container Storage Interface (CSI) driver for Kubernetes and other CNCF-compliant containers environments. The new InfiniBox CSI Driver helps InfiniBox storage system users to manage their storage within container platforms that support the CSI standard. The InfiniBox CSI Driver is a result of customer demand to bring the automation and ease of use of InfiniBox to DevOps practices, and shows Infinidat’s commitment to the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Infinidat’s storage solutions are designed to manage demanding workloads and the provider has shipped over 6 Exabytes worldwide with 1 Exabyte shipped in the last six months. Additionally, Infinidat was named a leader in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage. In January 2020, Infinidat was also recognized as Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Primary Storage.
