After purchasing commerce platform Magento back in June for a sum of $1.68 billion, Adobe recently disclosed its integration into their Experience Cloud’s marketing suite. Users currently working with the Experience Cloud’s marketing, analytics and advertising services can now access the full breadth of Magento’s commerce functionality and integrate it into their marketing strategies at both enterprise and small business levels.

The integrations were announced at Magento’s annual conference, Magento Live. Magento is now one of the sub-clouds within Adobe’s Experience Cloud which features The Advertising Cloud, the Marketing Cloud, the Analytics Cloud, and now the Magento Commerce Cloud.

With this latest addition to its repertoire, Experience Cloud will now let users utilize all Magento’s old capabilities with a few new tricks. At an enterprise level, the new integrations promise more in-depth and engaging shopping experiences, highly personalized AI-powered advertisements and predictive programs.

“Consumers expect every interaction with a brand to be contextual, intuitive and meaningful, but companies have struggled to consistently deliver personalized experiences across the myriad of touchpoints,”said Mark Lavelle, the current Senior Vice President of Commerce at Adobe and a former CEO of Magento. Lavelle also stated a desire to allows organizations of all sizes to ‘make every moment shoppable”

For smaller businesses, the coming integrations offer a new page builder with the ability to constantly and easily create engaging content for inbound marketing, streamlined payment systems through Magento, heightened site performance, more detailed site analytics and optimization, among other features.

Adobe Experience Cloud manages more than 233 trillion data transactions annually and $141 billion in online sales transactions annually. Industry analysts have named Adobe a clear leader in over 20 major reports focused on experience – more than any other technology company.

Magento, an Adobe company, is a leading provider of cloud commerce innovation to merchants and brands across B2C and B2B industries and was recently named a leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce.
