AirWatch, Vox Mobile and TELUS Bring “MDM Made Easy” to Canada

Utilizing technology from AirWatch by VMWare and Vox Mobile, TELUS is introducing a mobile offering designed to provide businesses with a richer user experience while simplifying and securing the management of mobile networks. Canada’s fastest-growing national telecommunications company is bringing “MDM Made Easy” to businesses as a new simple turn-key Mobile Device Management (MDM) allowing for a user-friendly cloud-based portal to manage devices.

Enterprise mobile expansion is a global phenomenon and Canada is now exception. Canadian IT departments are facing the same pressure to enable employees through mobility while maintaining security that the rest of the world faces and TELUS is attempting to ease that pain for their business customers.

A recent release states “MDM Made Easy is built to be customized; TELUS business customers receive a complimentary basic package for their TELUS devices and can add additional security features like secure email, application scanning, file sharing and secure web browsing. MDM Made Easy allows businesses to manage mobile devices across multiple platforms (i.e., iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows) and carriers. Businesses can also purchase licenses to manage non-TELUS devices, making it ideal for BYOD scenarios.”
