Ivanti Avalanche, powered by Wavelink, is an enterprise mobility management solution designed to keep workers and devices at peak productivity. The solution helps ensure that an enterprise’s mobile tech is ready to meet its demands, improving mobile productivity for workers.

The new EMM updates to Avalanche allow administrators to deploy device faster, letting users onboard and update hundreds of mobile devices through a simple NFC bump or QR codes. Organizations can also now set application parameters based on location and configure the rights an application has as it installs. Finally, Ivanti Avalance now offers support for both Windows Mobile and Android OS.

In the official press release, Ivanti’s Supply Chain Business Unit Vice President and General Manager Brandon Black stated: “Securing and managing Android OS-powered mobile devices can be challenging for supply chain organizations. This is especially true when there is a mix of BYOD and corporate-owned devices being used by warehousing and logistics workers. The new granular settings available through the Ivanti Avalanche Enterprise Enabler allow organizations to strike the right balance between corporate security policies and productivity. Administrators can now quickly and easily push new application and security settings through NFC bump or QR codes, minimizing worker downtime and reducing strain on IT resources.”
