Over the last few years, podcasts have grown from a fringe media to one of the most popular ways to get news and information. For those in the know, or those who need to know, network monitoring podcasts can be an excellent resource. With this in mind, our editors have compiled a list of our seven favorite network monitoring podcasts, listed below in no particular order. To keep up with the latest news, trends, best practices, and to hear from the top minds in the industry, we highly recommend giving these a listen.
This is by no means a complete list, and if we’ve missed any needles in the haystack, let us know!
Clear to Send
“Clear To Send is a podcast about wireless engineering where we educate you on WiFi technology, talk about design tips, troubleshooting, interviews, and the tools. The podcast was an idea after listening to many other podcasts. The goal is to help contribute back to the community by providing a podcast dedicated to wireless networking.”
“Defrag This is a podcast for IT pros that features meaningful trends, commentary on breaking news, and more. We’re producing the series because there’s a lot of information (and misinformation) out there and we’d like to help you and your fellow IT pros get in front of whatever problem might be around the bend – whether it’s a nasty new piece of malware, a hardware failure, or a user screw-up.”
“An unabashedly nerdy swan dive into networking technology. Weekly episodes feature industry experts, real-life network engineers and vendors sharing useful information to keep your professional knowledge sharp. Published weekly and roughly an hour long, we interview a wide range of guests from the tech community, standards bodies, academia, vendors and more.”
The Network Break
“Stay current with IT news on vendor moves, new products and tech deals in this fast-moving podcast that analyzes the stories that impact Networking Professionals. Get insights and context to stay informed, all in the time it takes to have a (longish) coffee break.”
“Network Collective is a community-focused network engineering podcast. Our episodes bring knowledge and insights of industry experts, pioneers, and peers to wherever you are. Topics range from protocol deep-dives to career management, but through a lens of what is relevant and valuable today. We get engineering because we are engineers.”
