Rackspace Launches Private Cloud Everywhere, Powered by VMware

Today, Rackspace announced the launch of its Private Cloud Everywhere, powered by VMware. This is a Private Cloud as a Service (PCaaS) that enables cloud servers and storage to be in most data centers or colocation facilities worldwide. The intent is to bring private cloud services to a more diverse audience.

Enterprises that are investing in their digital transformation are facing a major problem, data sovereignty laws. These laws are diverse and difficult to manage country by country. Luckily, Rackspace Private Cloud Everywhere brings the power of the cloud to the customer’s data center, allowing companies to comply more easily with these laws. This move will also bring cloud resources closer to users.
