TIBCO Software recently announced a collection of updates to TIBCO Predict, the company’s portfolio of data analytics and business intelligence software. Unveiled at its annual user conference TIBCO NOW, the launch brings updates to TIBCO Spotfire, TIBCO WebFOCUS, TIBCO Data Science, and TIBCO Streaming. TIBCO also made major enhancements to its enterprise integration product line and its suite of data management solutions.
TIBCO’s product capabilities are expansive and range from data integration and API management to visual analytics, reporting, and data science. The company’s BI and analytics portfolio comes in two main iterations: TIBCO Spotfire and TIBCO Jaspersoft. TIBCO Spotfire is the company’s more modern platform. It features interactive visualization, data preparation, enterprise-class governance, and advanced analytic capabilities. TIBCO Jaspersoft supports traditional reporting and embedded BI functionality.
TIBCO Spotfire’s new Mods framework enables customers to add new visualizations to Spotfire. Spotfire Data Functions also extend the Mods framework, offering data functions, AI, and data science capabilities. TIBCO WebFOCUS features new cloud-native deployment capabilities that add containerized deployment options and a managed cloud offering. TIBCO Data Science is getting a range of new cloud data sources, along with TIBCO Data Virtualization integration, Spotfire interoperability, AutoML augmentations, and native Spark pipelines.
