TIBCO Software recently announced a collection of updates to TIBCO Connect, the company’s portfolio of cloud, data, and application integration software. Unveiled at its annual user conference TIBCO NOW, the launch brings new updates to integration, API management, and messaging. New automation capabilities empower a wide variety of business users to hasten and automate key processes and workflows. TIBCO also made major enhancements to its data analytics product line and its suite of data management solutions.
TIBCO’s flagship Integration Platform as a Service product, TIBCO Cloud Integration, requires no code. It also allows users to create, model, and deploy APIs in a completely guided process. TIBCO acquired Scribe Software in June 2018 and has rolled its capabilities into TIBCO Cloud Integration as a complimentary package. TIBCO offers a fully integrated data platform that can handle a variety of data integration use cases. The company’s acquisition of Cisco’s data virtualization technologies rounds out its product portfolio even further.
Building on TIBCO Cloud Mashery, TIBCO’s new Cloud API Management evolves API management to manage the value provided by a business expressed as APIs and provides full lifecycle API management. TIBCO Cloud API Management, along with new innovations enhancing the developer pipeline and a new visual editor for API design and testing, are immediately available. In addition, TIBCO Cloud Messaging offers a new cloud-native storage option that enables open source solutions like Apache Kafka to be fully managed in the cloud.
In a media statement on the news, TIBCO Vice President and General Manager of Connect and Cloud Randy Menon said: “A connected digital business requires accelerated development and connectivity to reach its full potential. We’re raising the bar by accelerating digitally native business priorities and giving anyone in an organization the power to do so. We offer a single, cohesive platform that supports the adaptability required by digital businesses, helping organizations capitalize on data and insights to make predictions in real time.”
