Cleo has announced the release of new enhancements to its flagship offering, Cleo Integration Cloud. The release is highlighted by a collection of new connectors that enable organizations to connect internal systems, back-office applications, and e-commerce platforms and marketplaces. The Cleo Integration Cloud now includes connectors for AMQP, Apache Kafka, AS4, Google Cloud Storage Buckets, and Azure Blob Storage. The announcement was made at Cleo’s annual user conference Cleo Connect.
The Cleo Integration Cloud allows organizations to connect to enterprise and SaaS applications with a variety of connectors and APIs. The tool automatically accepts, transforms, orchestrates, connects and integrates all B2B data types from any source and to any target, and can be deployed via several different methods. Cleo Integration Cloud can also be embedded for SaaS or Information Services organizations, and can be utilized as a managed service to offload complex integrations to the vendor’s experts.
Cleo’s software is designed for companies in manufacturing, logistics, transportation and wholesale. What makes Cleo unique is its dedication to providing transparency and collaboration to those on-boarding new partners or making changes to integration flows base on changing requirements. Cleo has dubbed this its “glass box” approach to data integration.
In a statement to Solutions Review, the company’s SVP of Product Development Jorge Rodriguez said: “The managed services capabilities in our Cleo Integration Cloud platform present a great option for customers who need more agility in their supply chain, but may not have the technical expertise necessary to focus on the details of that integration process. Given that customers spend about 80% of their time operating integrations, with this new ‘glass box’ approach Cleo facilitates value creation by dramatically helping customers optimize the very operation of integrations.”
Solutions Review named Cleo one of 7 Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) Vendors to Watch in 2019 back in January.
