SnapLogic Drops August 2021 Platform Featuring SnapLogic Flows
SnapLogic has announced the release of its August 2021 product release featuring SnapLogic Flows and new API lifecycle management capabilities. SnapLogic Flows offers an intuitive user experience for non-technical business users and enables the development of application integrations and data flow automation without code. The product also touts a new API developer portal the option of ‘zero downtime upgrade’ to minimize disruptions for customers during product releases.
SnapLogic’s Intelligent Integration Platform provides integration across applications, databases, data warehouses, big data streams, and IoT deployments. It allows both IT and business users to create data pipelines that can be deployed on-prem or in the cloud. The platform features an HTML5 visual designer and a proprietary AI algorithm called Iris that learns common integration patterns and drives self-service by recommending flows.
With SnapLogic, when you deprecate an API, it is still active but will indicate that a new version should be used instead. Once deprecated, an API can only be retired, cutting down on errors. The SnapLogic platform will be fully accessible and always-on during releases, enabling customers to adopt new platform capabilities without interruption to their business as well.
In a media statement on the news, SnapLogic CTO Craig Stewart said: “We’ve packed a number of important new and enhanced features into the August release of the SnapLogic platform. With the introduction of SnapLogic Flows, we’re adding to our family of purpose-built, easy-to-use interfaces to help non-technical business users realize the vision of self-service, enterprise-wide automation. In addition, our new zero downtime commitment to customers as well as our expanded API management and ELT capabilities enable business and IT groups to work together.”
