Chris Maeda is the co-founder and CTO of Botco.ai, a startup applying breakthroughs in AI and NLP to automate marketing over conversational channels. He is a serial entrepreneur, recovered academic researcher, and all-around nerd's nerd. After studying computer science and conducting software research at places like the MIT AI Lab and Xerox PARC, he co-founded Rubric Inc., one of the first internet marketing automation startups, in the late 1990s. Rubric was acquired for approximately $300 million in early 2000. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from MIT and a Ph.D. in computer science from CMU. He reads and writes code every day.
