Ivanti Updates UEM Solutions with New Ambient Management Features
Ivanti is updating its Unified Endpoint Manager and User Workspace Manager solutions with new management and user experience features, according to a press release on the company’s website. The vendor is extending endpoint management features for Windows, Android, Mac, iOS, and Linux devices. Ivanti is also introducing a more ambient, personalized device experience for end-user management.
Ivanti offers a unified endpoint management product that formed from the vendor’s enterprise mobility management and client management tool. The Ivanti platform provides network-connected device discovery, automated software delivery, login performance features, and IT solution integration. Ivanti UEM implements several capabilities from its Endpoint Manager, including OS provisioning, automatic alerts, and agent and agentless device support.
The new features to Ivanti Unified Endpoint Manager include patch automation and agentless vulnerability scanning to streamline endpoint protection to improve security postures. The vendor also modified its modern device management capabilities to simplify the user interface and end-user enrollment process.
In the company’s press release, Ivanti’s Senior Director of Product Management Alan Braithwaite stated: “At Ivanti we are committed to delivering innovation that gives users better experiences and businesses better outcomes.
