Meru explains how 802.11ac is different in its equipment and bandwidth. This video is a good introduction to what makes 802.11ac great for the enterprise, and also introduces the concept of beamforming and MU-MIMO, and how they affect speed and the number of devices allowed.

Fundamentals of 802.11ac – This video from Cisco explains how 802.11ac handles things that take up more bandwidth, like videos. It also explains how 802.11ac builds on top of the technology of previous generations of 802.11 technologies and how 802.11ac widens the band from 2.4 GHz to 5GHz, giving much more room for traffic.
