iland Releases New Autopilot Managed Recovery for DRaaS
Provider of secure application and data protection cloud services built on VMware technology, iland, recently announced the new iland Autopilot Managed Recovery for Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). This upgrade to iland’s DRaaS portfolio is a fully managed business continuity solution, integrated with Zerto and Veeam, that is designed to accelerate application recovery in the event of significant downtime or data loss. The platform is aimed at customers with limited internal disaster recovery resources, offering a disaster recovery strategy that covers planning, testing, onboarding, and ongoing management.
Autopilot Managed recovery provides management over onboarding, failover testing, and change control, in addition to delivering SLA-backed RTOs and RPOs with runbook documentation on application recovery. The platform also offers enhanced visibility and reporting over key service metrics, service levels, and overall service health.
In a press statement, CTO of iland, Justin Giardina said, “Autopilot Managed Recovery combines the best of Veeam and Zerto with iland’s DRaaS portfolio to provide customers with a flexible disaster recovery solution that meets their unique and individual needs. Whether it’s self-service or a fully-managed disaster recovery solution, we’ve designed Autopilot Managed Recovery to work where, when, and how it’s needed, ensuring mission-critical applications and data are protected so our customers can focus on what matters most to their business.”
Iland Autopilot Managed Recovery for DRaaS is available from iland, as well as through its global network of partners. The vendor’s support and integration with Veeam and Zerto assists customers and resellers with deploying and managing disaster recovery solutions with less demand on internal IT.
Bill Franklin, director of cloud engineering at Avant Communications, also added, “in addition to its comprehensive pre-sales support, iland provides a complete DRaaS solution that’s easy to implement and maintain with industry-leading tools like iland Catalyst that helps determine if our customers are ready for the cloud and what they need to complete the journey. We see this as a simple, yet complete white-glove, end-to-end service that simplifies recovery for our customers. Its tight integration with industry leaders like VMware, Zerto, and Veeam makes this a trusted solution our customers can count on.”
