Algolia Acquires Velou
Algolia, a Retrieval Intelligence platform, has acquired Velou, a company that leverages multimodal AI to extract context-rich product data from catalog text and images. With the addition of Velou’s intelligence layer, Algolia can compound its search, behavioral, and AI intelligence with years of retail-specific product understanding. The user experience for Algolia customers will remain unchanged, as all system APIs, SDKs, and integrations are unchanged. What changes is the depth of intelligence underneath them.
Front Releases New Autopilot Agents, Integrations, and Capabilities

Validity Extends the Capabilities of Its Engage Solution
Validity, a provider of Enterprise AI solutions for digital marketers, has announced extended capabilities for Engage, including a new Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector that brings Engage intelligence into the AI tools marketers already use.
