dotdigital is enriching its core bundled offering with Live Chat to enable merchants to easily access their marketing automation tools directly within Magento commerce. In response to COVID-19, all customers will receive ten free chat agents to help manage communication with customers and prospects. Magento 2 merchants will also exclusively receive a free standalone dotdigital Engagement Cloud account with access to chat.
dotdigital offers a platform with simple drag-and-drop functionality for communicating with customers. It has multichannel capabilities to target customers efficiently. Users can harness analytics to send messages at the right time, in the right place, and on the right channel. Collected data includes customer identification and tracking. Lead scoring can be customized to focus on relevant data sets like purchase history, email opens, clicks, page views, and more. dotdigital can also work directly with users with managed and creative services.
dotdigital Live Chat capabilities include: multi-team support to better direct customers to the right place; typing indicators and rich communication support such as the use of GIFs and emojis; and the ability to send files such as images and PDFs. Out-of-hours and welcome messages will help merchants manage consumer expectations from the channel, leading to improved customer satisfaction. Interested parties can also expand their chat team size, or upgrade for full access to dotdigital Engagement Cloud.
