Datameer recently announced that its data preparation and analytics product is now available natively on the industry’s four largest SQL cloud data warehouses. The “big four” is made up of Amazon Redshift, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake. The move means Datameer customers can explore, analyze and operationalize all of their cloud data, in addition to on-prem big data architecture.
Datameer is a fully extensible solution that can integrate with existing data warehouse or business intelligence tools. The San Francisco-based vendor specializes in assisting organizations that invest in data lakes and other big data environments that support analytics for four main use cases: customer analytics, operational analytics, enterprise data warehouse (EDW) optimization, and fraud and compliance.
Datameer is unique in that it allows users to manage data just as easily whether it lives on-prem or in a cloud data warehouse. There is no coding required, which allows users to merge and clean disparate data before feeding them into one of the top business intelligence platforms.
The company’s CEO Christian Rodatus said of the news: “We’re thrilled to stay on the cutting edge of data prep, bringing our powerful and intuitive platform to the cloud data warehouses our customers use every day. With Datameer, preparation and analysis is all performed on our platform—you don’t need two different tools.”
